I fell in love with these biscuits from the first time I tried them at Red Lobster, I fell even more in love when I made them myself!!! If you liked them at the restaurant why not make it yourself?
Red Lobster Biscuits
iNGREDIENS:
2 cups all purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/3 cup cold, cubed butter
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 - 2/3 cup cold milk
Instructions:
oven: 450
1) Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic salt.
2)Cut in
butter, until the butter is about the size of small peas.
3)Mix in
shredded cheese.
4)Add milk gradually, just enough to make a crumbly-ish
dough- stir only until all ingredients are moistened.
5) Pat out to
about 3/4 inch thick. Cut with a round cutter or top of a glass.
6) Bake
on an ungreased baking sheet at 450 for about 15 minutes, until golden
brown.
When they get out of the oven, brush with this:
Melt together 2 tablespoons butter, 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, and 1/2 teaspoon basil flakes.
