Ham- cheese-egg sandwich =)

One of my breakfast menu =) Two super easy and super healthy egg sandwiches=)

Split Green Pea Soup Recipe

1/2 pound dried green peas OR 1 10 oz package frozen peas
1 t. olive oil
1 onion, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 can chicken broth OR 2 chicken boullion cubes and 2 cups water
1/2 t. salt
black pepper to taste
4 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
4 t. plain yogurt, cream, or sour cream (optional)

Rice and worms... eeeck

Don't you hate when you buy a bag of rice and then couple days later you see worms in your rice =(
It made me sick when I found few worms in my rice recently, so to find a solution to this I did some research and I found this articles here, where it tells you what to do to never have worms in your rice again, can't wait to try it out!!!

Scrambled Eggs on Bread


3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (I used butter)

1 large bunch broccoli, roughly chopped
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
8 large eggs, beaten
1/3 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Crusty bread, for serving (optional)

One of the best Spaghetti Sauce

5 pounds Ground Beef (I Used Ground Round)
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 whole Large Yellow Onions, Diced
2 whole Green Bell Pepper, Seeded And Diced
6 cloves Garlic, Minced
1 cup White Wine (or Low Sodium Beef Broth If You Prefer)
2 cans 28 Ounce Crushed Tomatoes
1 can (14 Ounce) Crushed Tomatoes
1 can (small, 4-ounce) Tomato Paste
1 jar Good Storebought Marinara Sauce (can Use Another Jar If You Like The Sauce To Be More Saucy Than Meaty)
1 teaspoon Ground Oregano
1 teaspoon Ground Thyme
4 whole Bay Leaves
2 Tablespoons Sugar
2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper (optional)
1/4 cup Finely Minced Fresh Parsley (or 3 Tablespoons Parsley Flakes), More To Taste
1 whole Rind From One Wedge Parmesan (optional)
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
2 pounds Spaghetti, Cooked Al Dente And Tossed With Olive Oil
Extra Minced Parsley, For Serving
Extra Parmesan Cheese, For Serving

I know it looks like its a lot of spaghetti sauce, but you can do what I do, freeze it!!! =) My picky toddler approved this sauce which put a smile on my face =D

Pretzel Hot Dogs

I have been craving these pretzel dogs for a while, finally decided to make them. 

300g bread flour
1 package active dry yeast (about 7.4g)
10g sugar
6g salt
2 large eggs, lightly beaten and divided
170g milk, at about 90°F (egg + milk should equal about 220g)
30g unsalted butter, softened
8 hot dogs
sesame seeds

Yummy and easy smocked turkey breast sandwich

whole wheat sliced bread
American cheese (or any other cheese that you like)
smoked turkey breast
pizza sauce

- Spread the pizza sauce on the sliced bread
- add cheese
- add smoked turkey breast
- add sliced tomatoes
- add parsley
- bake in the oven for around 10 min at 375F

Oreo Balls


1 package Oreos
1 pkg cream cheese, warm or room temp.
Semi-sweet chocolate (baking bar or chips)
White chocolate (baking bar or chips)
1 large zip-lock bag
1 small zip-lock bag
One of my favorite treats, not only its delicious but also its easy and fun way to make with a toddler.
